CSFPA Sponsored Training

- Quarterly Gatherings: Join us every quarter for our Resource Fairs, where you can access valuable resources, training opportunities, and sign up for future events.
- Foster Forward: Empowering Futures, Strengthening Homes: Throughout the year, we host several sessions of Foster Forward, aimed at empowering foster families and strengthening homes. Check our Event Calendar for upcoming sessions.

CDHS Sponsored Training
- Colorado Child Welfare Training Academy: Offering training for child welfare professionals and some courses suitable for foster parents. County foster parents can access many courses for free.
Online Education
- Foster Care & Adoptive Community Training: Access over 100 online courses for a nominal fee, ranging from $5 to $10 per course.
- Foster Parent College: Interactive online courses designed for foster, adoptive, and kinship parents, priced at $10 for 2 hours of training.
- FosterParentTraining.com: Pay an annual fee of $15 per person for unlimited access to courses.
- FosterClub.org: Free online training courses with certificates issued upon completion.
Other Options
- Support Groups: Some agencies accept attendance at foster parent support groups as part of required training hours.
